Calculate Veff in MassLynx. 

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx 4.1
• MassLynx 4.2
• Xevo G2-XS
• Xevo G2-S
• Xevo G2

PROCEDURE

1. Open the Tune page.
2. Select Setup > System View.
3. Enter password: access
4. Select System > Acquisition Settings > Nominal Mass.
5. Select the check box for "Calculate and Set Veff".
6. Reference Mass = molecular mass of Leu Enk (556.27 Pos mode) Measured Mass = Actual Mass of Leu Enk
7. Click Calculate > Update > Close.
8. Verify that the new mass position is correct. 
9. Repeat if necessary.
