BioAccord communication error after the computer resets - WKB244475

SYMPTOMS

• No communication to RDa after PC reboot

ENVIRONMENT

• UNIFI
• waters_connect

CAUSE

Services not running

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Reboot the PC and wait five minutes for the waters_connect/UNIFI services to start.
2. Open waters_connect/UNIFI and navigate to Administration  > Device Management. Select the LND or workstation tab and reset the LND from the change status option.
3. Wait five minutes for the LND to run through its startup. When it is back online, go to the instrument tab and bring the system back online.
