SYMPTOMS

• No MS signal from Xevo TQD with direct infusion

CAUSE

Faulty diverter valve 

FIX or WORKAROUND

Replace the fluidics valve (700005939).

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The diverter valve is replaced internally by removing the screws on the metal mounting plate (no need to remove the MS front panel). Removing MS1 RF generator allows better access to the valve cable connections and the screws that hold the valve in place.
