SYMPTOMS
- Oil bubbles around the connection of the exhaust at the oil mist filter
- Excess oil buildup on the top of the pump
ENVIRONMENT
- ACQUITY QDa Mass Detector
CAUSE
The flange is not tightened.
FIX or WORKAROUND
- The flange where the oil mist filter connects is flat on two sides.
- Use an adjustable wrench to tighten the flange .
