Xevo G2-XS source conditions change during acquisition - WKB24354

SYMPTOMS

• Tune page gives source condition readbacks that are different from the set values during sample list acquisitions

ENVIRONMENT

• Xevo G2-XS
• Xevo G2-S
• MassLynx

CAUSE

Corrupted tune file or wrong tune file is loaded in sample list.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Ensure that the correct tune file is selected in the sample list in the "MS tune file" column.
2. Alternatively or in addition, create a new tune file to ensure that it has not become corrupted.
3. Ensure that the correct mode (Resolution vs Sensitivity) is selected, as well as polarity.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Separate source settings are saved for each mode (positive resolution, positive sensitivity, negative sensitivity, negative resolution) in the same tune file.
