SYMPTOMS

• Tubing pops off the diverter valve or the top of the ESI probe
• Replaced tubing and fittings from the column to the diverter valve
• Replaced tubing and fittings from the diverter valve to the ESI probe
• Confirmed flow through the diverter valve

ENVIRONMENT

CAUSE

Blocked ESI probe

FIX or WORKAROUND

Rebuild the ESI probe using the ESI Probe Service Kit (700005795).
