• "Reboot the embedded PC" message appears when launching MassLynx

ENVIRONMENT

• ACQUITY TQ Detector
• ACQUITY SQ Detector
• Xevo TQD
• SQD2
• Xevo TQ MS
• Xevo TQ-S
• Xevo TQ-S micro
• Xevo TQ-XS

CAUSE

Software suspects communication issue with mass spec.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Close MassLynx.
2. Reboot the embedded PC (EPC).
3. Wait for the MS to complete its boot process.
4. Launch MassLynx

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This is expected behavior.
