SYMPTOMS

• Source temperature does not reach the set point
• Error: Source temperature failed to settle
• Ion block can be heated to 50 degrees by the desolvation heater

ENVIRONMENT

CAUSE

Faulty source heater

FIX or WORKAROUND

Replace the source heater (700005347).

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Resistance across a working heater cartridge heater should be 15-30 ohm
