What are the positive and negative sensitivity specifications for the SQD2? - WKB22477
ENVIRONMENT
SQD2
ANSWER
ESI positive ion sensitivity:
Make five sample infusions of reserpine (10 pg/μL in 70:30 acetonitrile/water) and three 5-second blank infusions (70:30 acetonitrile/water) into a flow of 200 μL/min 70:30 acetonitrile/water using the system fluidics.
Ensure that the following conditions are met:
- The signal intensity range of the five sample peaks is ≤20% of the lowest peak intensity.
- The signal intensity of the smallest peak is ≥5E6.
- The average area of the three blanks is ≤10% of the average of the three sample peaks.
ESI negative ion sensitivity:
Make five sample infusions of chloramphenicol (5 pg/μL in 70:30 acetonitrile/water) and three blank infusions (70:30 acetonitrile/water) into a flow of 200 μL/min 70:30 acetonitrile/water using the system fluidics.
Ensure that the following conditions are met:
- The signal intensity range of the five sample peaks is ≤20% of the lowest peak intensity.
- The signal intensity of the smallest peak is ≥6E5.
- The average area of the three blanks is ≤10% of the average of the three sample peaks.
