IntelliStart Instrument Resolution fails on a Xevo TQ-XS - WKB198139

SYMPTOMS

• IntelliStart Instrument Resolution struggles to pass at Unit Mass Resolution and High Mass Resolution
• IntelliStart Instrument Resolution fails at Low Mass Resolution and Quantitative
• The peak splits in two at low resolution: 
  
• Zooming in to the peak top of one of the peaks on the tune page (ex. 455.3 and span of 0) shows the intensity fluctuating by 30-40% from scan to scan
• Resolution results fail with ridiculous values (0.5 Da for one mass and 0.9 Da for others)

• Xevo TQ-XS
• 186008719 setup solution for the Xevo TQ-XS

CAUSE

Unstable spray due to kink or blockage in the capillary

FIX or WORKAROUND

Replace the capillary:

• 700011241 - ESI PROBE ASSEMBLY 500LG125uM (Capillary for Tool-free ESI probe (standard))
• 700011242 - ESI PROBE ASSEMBLY 750LG125uM (Capillary for Tool-free ESI probe)
