Vials are lifted out of sample tray as I-Class needle withdraws - WKB17240

SYMPTOMS

• Vials are being lifted out of sample tray as needle withdraws
• Cap mats are lifted from the well plates

ENVIRONMENT

• ACQUITY UPLC Sample Manager Common Platform

CAUSE

In some positions the needle is not penetrating the pre-slit part of the mat or vial. The mat or vial then sticks to the needle.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Calibrate the rotary tray
2. Calibrate the R axis
3. Calibrate the needle z axis
