CAUSE
Contamination in the diverter valve on the MS (bypassing the valve showed clean blank chromatograms)
FIX or WORKAROUND
- Fully wash divert valve with appropriate wash solution.
- If washing does not resolve, sonicate the rotor/stator and rebuild.
- Replace affected parts.
