Persistent "leak detected error" - WKB125307

SYMPTOMS

• Leak sensor on MS throws "leak detected error"
• No leak visible in the leak tray
• Sensor is sprayed with methanol and allowed to air dry
• Setting changes or reboots do not clear the error

ENVIRONMENT

• Xevo G2 QTof
• ACQUITY UPLC I-Class Binary Solvent Manager

CAUSE

Short-circuit in the wiring of the leak sensor

FIX or WORKAROUND

Replace the leak sensor (205000505).
