API gas shuts off when running detector setup in IntelliStart - WKB12323

SYMPTOMS

• The desolvation gas flow is set too low (see screenshot).
• API gas is automatically shut off
  

ENVIRONMENT

• Xevo G2 Tof/QTof
• Xevo G2-S Tof/QTof
• Xevo G2-XS Tof/QTof

CAUSE

FIX or WORKAROUND

Clear Inlet fatal error and Ext.device error (see screenshots).

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

If there is an error active in the inlet file (e.g. pump over pressure) and the error shutdown is configured, a shutdown is triggered during the detector setup. In these cases it is sufficient to clear the error in the inlet file (LC\Reset Communication) before starting the detector setup.
