The PEEK tubing from the ACQUITY UPLC system leaks at the LC port on the diverter valve for any Xevo Mass Spec - WKB122296

SYMPTOMS

• The PEEK line fitted to the LC port on the diverter valve pops out of the fitting when flow is on
• Replacing the probe assembly for the Tool-Free ESI probe does not resolve the issue

• Tool-Free ESI probe

CAUSE

Blockage between the LC port and the Source port on the diverter valve

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Disconnect the probe assembly from the Source port on the diverter valve.
2. Disconnect the PEEK tubing from the LC port on the diverter valve.
3. Connect the PEEK tubing from the LC port to the Source port on the diverter valve.
4. Ensure that the flow state for the diverter valve is set to LC on the Fluidics tab of the tune page.
5. Start the flow to back flush the ports.
