Xevo G2-XS fails calibration - WKB119723

SYMPTOMS

• Failure of calibration protocol
• Beam attenuation is less than 1% during calibration setup
• "!" seen on calibration data report

ENVIRONMENT

• Xevo G2-XS

CAUSE

A high-intensity contaminant peak in the calibration solution causes calibration peaks to be severely attenuated.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Resolve the issue with calibration solution (remake the solution or install a new solution on the fluidics reservoir).
2. Calibrate the system and ensure that the calibration passes.
