The capillary voltage is too high and/or the capillary tip or sample cone is dirty.
FIX or WORKAROUND
- Decrease capillary voltage.
- Clean up the capillary tip or sample cone.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Discharged capillary voltage can lead to malfunction of the high-voltage power supply.
