Xevo TQ-S or Xevo TQ-XS: "Leak Detected" error - WKB100795

SYMPTOMS

• "Leak Detected" error message
• The trough is dry underneath the diverter and switching valves
• The trough under the fluidics lines is full of solvent

ENVIRONMENT

• Xevo TQ-S
• Xevo TQ-XS
• All Xevo Mass Spectrometers

CAUSE

The solvent waste line is back-filling from the waste bottle.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Cut the waste tubing, if necessary, and correctly route the waste line from the Mass Spectrometer to ensure that solvent drains properly.
