Sample manager leak detected - WKB99611

SYMPTOMS

• Error message: Sample manager leak detected
• Every two hours the leak sensor on the sample manager gives error message

ENVIRONMENT

• ACQUITY UPLC I-Class
• ACQUITY UPLC Column Manager

CAUSE

A loose fitting in the column manager inlet or outlet causes leaks that trigger the leak sensor.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Tighten the fitting for the capillary between the sample manager and the column manager.
2. Dry out the leak sensor and the cup that it sits in and reset the module.
