SYMPTOMS
- Leak error message on console
- No peaks during sample run
- Leaking from the inlet port of the flow cell
ENVIRONMENT
- ACQUITY UPLC PDA Detector
- ACQUITY UPLC Tunable UV Detector
CAUSE
Detector inlet fitting with ferrule out of position
FIX or WORKAROUND
- Replace or correct the detector inlet fitting.
- Check for back pressure on flow cell or detector outlet.
- Flush the system to confirm no leak.
- If leak is still present, back flush the flow cell.

If the inlet fitting is still leaking, cut off about an inch of the PEEK tubing and install a new ferrule.
