There are two types of batteries used in the 2998 PDA, depending on the date of manufacture and previous repairs.
- WAT080443 - Battery, 3V Lithium (coin type)
- 700001834 - Battery, 3V Zeropower, Snaphat (yellow square) The Snaphat battery 700001834 is obsolete and no longer available. That CPU board can be replaced with a later version using a different battery. To replace the board contact your local service organization.
