Error in ACQUITY UPLC H-Class FTN: Sample temperature range error 0.0 - WKB7960

SYMPTOMS

• In Empower Run Samples, immediately after a run is started, error "Sample temperature range error 0.0" appears

ENVIRONMENT

• ACQUITY UPLC H-Class FTN
• Empower 3

CAUSE

The method does not have the ACQUITY UPLC H-Class FTN listed.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. In Empower, create a new instrument method including the ACQUITY UPLC H-Class FTN. Specify a temperature in the General tab of the FTN (see screen shot below).
2. Save the method.
3. Run samples.
