System overpressure on ACQUITY CM-A - WKB78941

SYMPTOMS

• When flowing through column 1 on the CM-A, the system overpressures
• No issue when flowing through column 2 or bypass

ENVIRONMENT

• ACQUITY UPLC Column Manager
• ACQUITY UPLC I-Class
• ACQUITY UPLC Column Manager

CAUSE

Clog in the column valve

FIX or WORKAROUND

Replace the Column Manager switching valve.
