Location :

C:\Empower\Instruments\Settings ( if you are running Empower software)

C:\Program Files (x86)\Waters Instruments\Settings ( if you are using MassLynx or other software) 

• The ACQUITYSettings.xml file essentially controls which modules are displayed within the ACQUITY Console window.
• It stores the display settings for the Console
• This file can occasionally get corrupted.
• Delete the .xml file if that's the case and it will get created once you re-launch Console
