SYMPTOMS

• Error message in console: Startup prerequisites test failed
• "Startup sequence recorded errors. Reboot the host PC and then power cycle the QDa Detector"

• ACQUITY QDa Mass Detector
• ACQUITY UPLC H-Class System
• Empower 3 Enterprise

CAUSE

Communication problem

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Shut down all modules and the computer.
2. Start computer.
3. Start FTN first.
4. Start QSM, CM, PDA...
5. Start QDa.
6. Start Empower 3.
