How to connect a SFC Investigator to ChromScope - WKB71065

OBJECTIVE or GOAL

Specify the correct COM ports for the RocketPort serial interface card.

ENVIRONMENT

• Investigator SFC System
• MV-10 ASFE SFE System (discontinued)
• ChromScope

PROCEDURE

For all installations of Investigator and MV-10, serial port configurations for ChromScope must be assigned as follows:

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

RocketPort port assignments are also specified in the specific SFx installation checklist.

With the new RocketPort card (PCIe) for Win 10, the COM number should be the same as the Port number (for example, P1 = COM 1).
