ACQUITY UPLC sample organizer move plate latch error - WKB68072

SYMPTOMS

• Move plate latch error
• Does not clear when reset or power cycled

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3 Enterprise
• ACQUITY UPLC Sample Organizer
• ACQUITY UPLC Sample Manager 
• ACQUITY UPLC Sample Manager - Flow Through Needle PLUS
• ACQUITY UPLC I-Class

CAUSE

Sample organizer configured to the wrong sample manager. Multiple sample organizers may be available in a networked environment.

FIX or WORKAROUND

• Power-off the sample organizer and reset the sample manager. Move plate latch error is replaced with organizer communications failure.
• Power-on the sample organizer and reconfigure to the sample manager. Confirm the serial number on the sample manager and sample organizer to ensure that the correct sample organizer is selected.
• Reset sample manager to clear organizer communication failure.
• Transfer plates on all systems on that LAC/E to ensure full functionality.
