ANSWER

We do not recommend use of cylinders with the 2424 detector. Only nitrogen generators are recommended for supported configurations. 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

With standard J size cylinders, the customer may get only 40 hours of usage at normal flow rates.
The nitrogen tank/generator must be 2 meters or less from the detector, otherwise there is a risk of flooding the detector due to insufficient supply of nitrogen from the generator/tank.
