Pump h/w over pressure error in ACQUITY UPLC H-Class Quaternary Solvent Manager (QSM) above 10000 psi - WKB65435

SYMPTOMS

• Pump h/w over pressure error produced when pressure reaching approximately 10000 psi
• Leak test passes up to 10000 psi, but fails to complete above 14000 psi, giving an overpressure error.
• ?. (Accumulator, 10000 psi) error appears

ENVIRONMENT

• ACQUITY UPLC H-Class Quaternary Solvent Manager (QSM)
• Empower 3

CAUSE

An issue with CPU PCB memory.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Troubleshoot -> Reset NVRAM.
2. Powercycle the instrument
3. Restart QSM.
4. Reset QSM to get the communication, 
5. Perform leak test at 14000 psi.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

ACQUITY ICOPs driver pack 2022

Transducer voltage offsets confirmed as OK.

Same behavior through MassLynx or ACQUITY Console.

If the communication is not established, restart entire lace again as well as QSM module
