No flow from ACQUITY UPLC solvent manager when priming - WKB65252

SYMPTOMS

• No flow from one or both pumps
• This can happen intermittently; sometimes one pump has a flow when primed and even passes the dynamic leak test, but the system pressure drops to zero after 5 to 15 minutes of normal operation
• Pressure trace indicates close to zero pressure for the faulty pump's primary

CAUSE

Faulty check valves

FIX or WORKAROUND

Replace the check valves on the affected pump.
