Stripping and cross-thread damage on Alliance 2690/2695 pumps - WKB59733

SYMPTOMS

• Leaking caused by poor connections to Alliance pumps at intake manifolds
• Because of thread damage, cannot reconnect fittings and check valve housings

ENVIRONMENT

• Alliance HPLC system
• 2695 Separations Module
• 2695D Dissolution Separations Module
• 2795 Separations Module

CAUSE

Thread damage at intake manifold at various points

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Replace the affected part: Alliance intake manifold (WAT270963) and/or the Alliance check valve housing (700002332).
