Error: Autozero offset excessive on 2414 Refractive Index detector - WKB5831

SYMPTOMS

• Autozero offset excessive observed during system wash
• Baseline not stable

ENVIRONMENT

• 2414 Refractive Index (RI) detector

CAUSE

Contents of the flow cell.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Purge detector with fresh solvent
2. Take purge mode off and flush detector
3. Reboot 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

When using a new column, do not flow to detector until proper conditioning of column is complete.  Otherwise, extended multi-day purging may be necessary.
