ACQUITY UPLC Column manager is leaking, but no leak is visible - WKB57972

SYMPTOMS

• Leak sensor triggered for the column manager
• No visible leak from any of the four columns
• Column pressure is stable
• Leaking occurs regardless of the column position
• Overall system pressure is less than normal

ENVIRONMENT

• ACQUITY UPLC
• ACQUITY UPLC Column Manager

CAUSE

The column manager outlet-to-detector inlet tubing (port 7) has come loose or wear and tear.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Replace the column manager outlet-to-detector inlet tubing (see Additional Information for part numbers).
