SYMPTOMS
- Error "Turbo Power too high" on the Console
- A pulsing noise/vibration coming from the QDa
- Turbo power reading 66W
- Reset of QDa does not work
ENVIRONMENT
- ACQUITY QDa Mass Detector
CAUSE
- Vacuum Leak in the source region caused by a bad aperture disk
FIX or WORKAROUND
Replace the aperture disc with the correct size

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Under normal instrument operating conditions, the turbo power should be between 37 - 60W.
The average turbo power for most instruments is around 43W.
