Salt is building up around the sensor shield on the HDX autosampler arm during sample acquisitions.

CAUSE
Syringe plunger seal is damaged and allowing solvent past the plunger to sit in the top of the syringe.
FIX or WORKAROUND
Replace affected syringe.
