SYMPTOMS

• "Peak Not Found. Reference Energy Maximum" error appears at startup
• Intensities or peak response of known peaks are less than expected

ENVIRONMENT

• 2487 Dual-Wavelength Absorbance Detector
• 2489 UV/Vis Detector

CAUSE

Lamp intensity is too low.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Replace the lamp (WAS081142) if 2487, if you have 2489 use 201000281.
2. Refer to manual for the replacement procedure.
