Error on Alliance 2695: Column temp HW fault (7) - WKB49335

SYMPTOMS

• Error "Column temp HW fault (7)" on the Alliance 2695 front panel when running as standalone with column heater

ENVIRONMENT

• Alliance HPLC system
• 2695 Separations Module
• 2695D Dissolution Separations Module
• 2795 Separations Module
• Alliance Series column heater
• Alliance Series column heater/cooler

CAUSE

Cable is not seated. 

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Power-off the 2695 and the column heater.
2. Reseat the cable between the 2695 and the column heater.
3. Power-on the 2695 and the column heater.
