Infinity Series 2 stack does not show up in DHCP - WKB4676

SYMPTOMS

• Infinity Series 2 stack does not show up in DHCP

ENVIRONMENT

• Infinity Series 2 on Empower network

CAUSE

The dip switch on the rear of G7117 A,B,C DAD needs setting.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. As with all Ethernet Agilent systems, Waters recommends hooking up the Ethernet cable to the detector. In this case, the dip switch needs setting.
2. On the rear of the detector, notice the six-position bank of dip switches.
3. Viewing from left to right, dip switch 4 must be up, all others down.
4. Reboot the PC and detector. The system will now show in DHCP.
5. Give the system a unique name and create a new system.
