"Leak detected" error with ACQUITY UPLC Column Heater - WKB3416

SYMPTOMS

• Leak detected error in the ACQUITY console

• ACQUITY UPLC Sample Manager - Flow Through Needle PLUS (SM-FTN PLUS)

CAUSE

Leak is detected in the column compartment. 

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Connection from active pre-heater to column is not properly connected.
2. Inspect for fluid at the leak sensor; clean if necessary.
3. Reset the sample manager.
4. If leak persists, replace the column and active pre-heater.
