Serial number for e2695 does not show up in Empower node properties - WKB3439

SYMPTOMS

• The e2695 serial number does not show up in the Empower node properties (Instrument tab) window

ENVIRONMENT

• Alliance HPLC System
• 2695 Separations Module
• Empower 3

CAUSE

The serial number is not entered on the e2695.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Enter the serial number through the Service Utilities Diagnostic, found on the Diag screen on the e2695.
2. Power-cycle the instrument and the Empower computer.
