"Center in Loop" wash cycle with large injection volume takes too long compared with normal cycle - WKB3271

SYMPTOMS

• Injecting 5 mL without "Center in Loop", wash cycle takes 0.5 min
• Injecting 5 mL with "Center in Loop", wash cycle takes 2.5 min
• Injecting 39 mL with "Center in Loop", wash cycle takes 4.8 min

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx
• 2767 Sample Manager

FIX or WORKAROUND

Change from one wash solvent to two (two wash lines in the same solvent),

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

In this case, total wash cycle time was reduced to 1.2 minutes, which is equal to normal injection mode (without Center in Loop).

User wants to use "Center in Loop" to get the best sample recovery (has achieved 99% recovery).
