ACQUITY M-Class console high pressure limit is unstable when Bar is selected as the unit of measurement - WKB32685

Article number: 32685

SYMPTOMS

  • When using Bar as the unit of measurement, if a user sets a flow rate (µL/min) on the µBSM and a high pressure limit in Bar (e.g., 600), starting the flow leads to immediate overpressure as the high pressure limit changes to a very low value (e.g., 50 bar)
  • If the high pressure limit is set in psi or kPa, the µBSM functions normally

ENVIRONMENT

  • ACQUITY M-Class
  • MassLynx

CAUSE

Unknown software bug:  Defect CRI-4133

FIX or WORKAROUND

None at this time.  A workaround is to use psi or kPa as the unit of measure.
