Article number: 319503

OBJECTIVE or GOAL

ENVIRONMENT

  • ACQUITY UPLC I-Class
  • ACQUITY UPLC I-Class PLUS

PROCEDURE

  • Insert a piece of used PEEK needle or PEEK tubing into the needle wash seal port, and gently push the needle down through the O-ring. You should feel slight resistance as the needle slides through the O-ring.

  • If you do not feel slight resistance while sliding the needle through the O-ring, the needle wash seal port is probably too tight or too loose. Manually adjust the needle wash seal port until you can verify that it is seated correctly. (CAUTION: TO AVOID DAMAGING THE O-RING SEAL AND NEEDLE, DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN THE NEEDLE WASH SEAL PORT).
  •  Remove the PEEK needle or PEEK tubing from the needle wash seal port.
