What does the message "Calibration Differs" on the screen of a 2487 or 2489 detector mean? - WKB27746

Article number: 27746

ENVIRONMENT

  • 2487 detector
  • 2489 detector

ANSWER

The calibration verification that is performed when the 2487/2489 powers-up does not match the calibration that is stored in the memory of the detector.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This can happen if the detector was originally calibrated with a particular solvent in the flow cell, methanol for example, and then the detector was powered-up after having a new solvent flushed through it, THF for example.
