With FTN, low system pressure when in inject position - WKB241372

SYMPTOMS

• Pressure is normal in load position but much lower or even near zero in inject position

ENVIRONMENT

• FTN sample manager

CAUSE

Leak at needle seal due to customer not recharacterizing after fitting new needle and seal

Issue could also stem from a damaged needle seal. Replace the needle seal and holder if required.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Calibrate needle z axis.
2. Characterize needle seal. (Pressure should now be normal in load and inject positions, and needle seal readiness test should now be successful.)
