- Column inlet leaks
ENVIRONMENT
- ACQUITY UPLC (all variants)
CAUSE
Improper column fitment
FIX or WORKAROUND
- Remove the column.
- Release/loosen all retention screws that may be present.
- Ensure that ferrule is in place and that sufficient tube protrudes from its tip.
- Fit column and tighten fittings (finger-tight is sufficient).
- If the leak persists, replace the ferrule
