2487 Detector not communicating in Empower - WKB16250

SYMPTOMS

• 2487 says "NO" for Status OK in node properties 

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3 enterprise
• LAC/E
• 2487 Dual Wavelength Detector
• 2695 Separations Module
• Breeze

CAUSE

Incorrect IEEE address.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Set the IEEE address to the correct address.
   1. Select Shift, and then DIAG to access the configuration page.
   2. Navigate to the IEEE address field and specify the desired address.
   3. Return to the Node properties and select Scan.
