CAUSE

The ACQUITY Arc 30cm Column Heater passive preheater tubing or the switching valve is clogged.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Identify the cause for the overpressure (rule out other potential blockages in tubings or valves).
2. If you identified the 30cm Column Heater passive preheater tubing as being blocked, replace it.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The passive preheater tubing is part 700011699.

Make sure to check the pressure after changing the tubing. The gold fitting needed to connect to the SM-OUT and its union is not included in the ordered part.
A part of the column-IN fittings is also not included. These can be retrieved and reused from the replaced part.
