No channel data available following method resolution utility on Agilent GC with ICF control - WKB119951

SYMPTOMS

• Instrument hardware configuration changed and method resolution triggered from Run Samples window > Edit Method
• Method changes saved and sample set run
• No channel data acquired

ENVIRONMENT

• Agilent 7890
• Agilent 8890
• ICF Control on Empower 3

CAUSE

The channel names are not updated by the method resolution utility.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Return to Edit Method in the Run Samples window.
2. Navigate to the Derived Channel Properties tab.
3. Use the Channel ID drop-down menu to select the correct channel name.
