SYMPTOMS
- No peaks elute from column
- Complete noise background; no bleed peaks come off
- Cone gas set to 0 in order to elevate any background peaks (should be between 100 and 150 in stepwave instrument)
- Peaks ionizing the heptacosa in background
- All other source conditions tuned normally
